BRONZE & COPPER - Healing Metals
 Copper is a component of Bronze and they are both healing metals. Copper has been widely used for easing inflammation, detoxification, cleaning up free-radicals and easing symptoms of Rheumatism and Arthritis.
Recent research has even suggested that copper could have a use in preventing cancer. Experiments by Professor Sorenson, of Arkansas Medical Sciences University, led him to the conclusion that "just as copper therapy can bring about the elimination of metabolites which cause arthritis and rheumatism, so it prevents them turning normal body tissue into a cancerous state."
So there are many good reasons for choosing bronze and copper jewellery - apart from how beautiful it is!

HISTORY:  Bronze, a metal alloy, was developed by the ancient Sumerians as early as 3500BC- early Bronze Age (c. 3500-2000BC) in the Tigris-Euphrates Valley. This is often considered the Earliest Civilisation and working with Bronze one of the earliest forms of jewellery and craft.  Bronze was used to make a range of things including coins and jewellery in China also around 2000BC.  The other Ancient Civilisation - Ancient Egypt used Bronze extensively.  Bronze Jewellery is still prized today as a wonderful metal to work with as it reproduces every detail of the most delicately intricate pieces of jewellery.
